- History: Many of you may remember Ben Reid Sowers when he operated the distribution store in Hollywood Ca. After Kirsch decided to close their store, Reid opened the first Diversified Drapery Products store in Van Nuys, California. DDP quickly became the leading distributor for Kirsch products in the Los Angeles area, Sowers expanded his business opening a second store in LONG BEACH and a third in San Diego Miramar area in 1993 and became the largest KIRSCH distributor in Southern California region. Today, Sowers has sold his two Los Angeles stores and is focusing on his San Diego location.
